Analysis of An Encouragement
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Be courageous and strong,
For you shall inherit;
To God where you belong,
Through your faith and merit.
Be very courageous,
And careful to the Law;
Of what Moses gave us,
As to not get a flaw.
Turn not from it away,
To the left or the right;
That will cause you to stray,
Into darkness from light.
The Law shall not depart,
But you shall meditate;
Day and night in your heart,
Speak to facilitate.
You will be prosperous,
In everything you do;
And have a great success,
In the Lord remain true.
Do not fear nor dismayed,
God has commanded you;
To be strong, not afraid,
In everything you do.
Be strong and courageous,
And the blessings will flow;
Being advantageous,
For God is where you go.
