Analysis of Will I Miss My Home Cooking (Bussokusekika)
Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)
Will I Miss My Home Cooking (Bussokusekika)
I felt hunger pangs
Whitman wasn’t nourishing
Nor was Angelou
So I entered the kitchen
And saw some Gorman and Frost
Will I miss my home cooking

About this poem
It’s not easy being the man with the inkhorn…Some may even say the scribe of God…Do I sound conceded???I could quote scripture but they have fallen on deaf ears long enough…FYI…The perfect name for my 10 acres is “The Cuckoo’s Nest” I wonder IF my invisible friends might visit me there???Wouldn’t it actually be rather poetic IF 1 actually did fly over his Cuckoo’s Nest???Only time will tell…We’ll…It’s been said that Rome wasn’t built in a day…I wonder IF it really can be destroyed in one day???Oh…But we all know that Rome no longer exists…So much for friends Romans and countrymen…lol…Will any of you miss my home cooking???
