Analysis of Founder of Salvation
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Not angels that God subjected,
Of the world that we are speaking;
But those who are not elected,
Earthly pleasures they are seeking.
What is man that you are mindful,
Or the Son of man that you care;
Testifies something insightful,
About what we should be aware.
Lower than the angels He was made,
And crowned with glory and honor;
To the Father, He has obeyed,
Walking the earth as a fawner.
You can see the works of His hands,
Putting it all in subjection;
But we see not yet where He stands,
Put under Him for protection.
