Analysis of Placebo gods
Never put your trust in
Man for there is nothing
They can do for you at
appointed time. man
Is nothing but dust and
Fleeting being.
If you must put your trust in
Anything, let it be in yourself
Never in any outsider. Trust
In self is a sure banger on earthly
way and nothing else like it.
Nothing equals safety anchored
In self-awareness and assurance
What would any man, any earthly
Force know about you more than
you know yourself? Think deep.
Answer is nothing and nothing is
Nothing in it's naked form. No
Ambiguity, no secrecy, no
Manipulation, no hidden catches
Just, plain as the good ol days.
If you must put your trust in
Anything outside yourself,
Let it be anchored in supreme
God. Supreme one and no other.
Those gods in your pocket..
On your neck, your finger, your
Waists are nothing but what they
Are. ornament, decorations, placebo
gods that assures through psychin
You up that they are there when they
Are cowering from the force you are
Seeking their help for. Left, they saved,
Right, they saved you. Gain they lay
Claim, loss, they offer reasons
That is for your good. They are never
Without excuse for not performing.
Once the going gets tough, you
Find out you are more reliable
More steady, than the god in your
Pocket. More present than your
Placebo god. When you need them
Most, they go AWOL.
