Analysis of Sleep Please Come

Myrrdin 2002 (Philippines)

Lying in my bed,
I’m pretty much awake
I cannot sleep
A lot of ideas are flowing in my head.

I can’t close my eyes
I’m not that tired
Maybe my body yes,
But I don’t feel like sleeping.

I tried counting one to a certain number
But it doesn’t work on me
I tried to close my eyes
But I don’t feel like it.

Until the moment I realized,
It was already morning
I stood aghast and wondered
When did I fall asleep?
