Analysis of Remembering to Obey
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
You shall keep the whole commandment,
That was commanded unto you;
With remaining in alignment,
Through the Lord and always be true.
You will continue to be strong,
And keep possession of the land;
Because that is where you belong,
For obeying every command.
You may live long that the Lord gave,
Land that flows with milk and honey;
No longer will you be a slave,
Rather prosper making money.
For the land that you do possess,
Is not the land where you had been;
Sow your seed and reap the excess,
It is a new life to begin.
It’s a land with valleys and hills,
Drinks water from heavenly rain;
Come harvest the barn overfills,
Having more than abundant grain.
The Eyes of the Lord looks upon,
Having a very caring heart;
Beginning a new year at dawn,
Giving His children a new start.
