Analysis of Promulgation of the Gospel
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I wonder what shall I cry?
The beauty of flesh is grass;
Flowers in the field will sigh,
While the weather does pass.
Grass withers and flowers fade,
As the breath of the Lord blows;
People's bodies have decayed,
While their number of years shows.
Flowers fade as grass withers,
But God’s Word stands forever;
As the winter wind slithers,
But God’s Word will not sever.
