Analysis of Square-Shaped Moon

Lava only meets the ocean
When a volcano kisses the sky
The three hundred overthrown a thousand
Til Leonidas got killed and die

The sun and moon held hands for a while
After being apart for some million miles
Like a love beyond possible
between us two
and I know it is impossible
for me to unlove you.

Only God can move mountains and divide seas into two,
But I can climb a mountain just to be with you
I know these words are simple and shallow
and does not mean anything to you
Damn that Cupid's arrow
It hit me deeply, but not you...

I wish these feelings turns to dust
Just like when Thanos does the snap!
A spell forbidden to cast
My love will turn to scratch

Sometimes reality tells a lie
When the heart will hide the truth
That I can only embrace, kiss, and love you
Under a square-shaped moon.

About this poem

This poem is about a forbidden and unrequited love I have for s special woman. Though we are not meant for each other, I can't deny that I can't unloved her. All I can do is to love her from afar. I can't deny the fact that I am longing to be with her and hoping that the universe aligns, and she choose me to be the man of her life. Maybe I will only stop loving her, until she meet the better person than me.
