Analysis of Righteous Kingdom
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
A King will reign in righteousness,
Each will be like a hiding place;
As a Prince will rule in justice,
For shining His mercy and grace.
He is a shelter from the storm,
Streams of water in a dry place;
The shade of a rock is the norm,
As your comfort that will embrace.
The eyes of the ones who will see,
They will not close neither grow dim;
The ears will then hear the decree,
As spoken through the cherubim.
The heart of the rash understands,
The tongue stammers hasten to speak;
Comprehending by the commands,
What the Lord wishes you to seek.
The fool will no more be noble,
Vile ones no more liberal;
Nor the scoundrel honorable,
Their wokeness is deplorable.
The vile speaks of villainy,
Fools will practice ungodliness;
Is busy with iniquity,
While thirsty for sinfulness.
The scoundrel with thoughts of evil,
Wicked plans to ruin the poor;
With the workings of the devil,
Let him in through the open door.
The plea of the needy is right,
Being noble plans noble things;
The things where He stands in the light,
Noble things that righteousness brings.
