Analysis of Judge God
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The mighty One, God our Lord,
Speaks and summons upon the earth;
The sun setting is not ignored,
Knowing the rising sun's true worth.
The perfection of true beauty,
God shining forth out of Zion;
He did give the sun its duty,
To start like a roaring lion.
Our Lord does not keep silent,
Before Him, a consumed fire;
A mighty storm is violent,
Destruction it does desire.
He calls on Heaven up above,
And the earth to judge His people;
The faithful ones gather thereof,
Taking refuge in His temple.
A covenant through sacrifice,
Was made where the faithful gather;
Asked for favor in justice,
Through their praise and prayed together.
Heaven declares His righteousness,
For God Himself remains the judge;
For all those who do not confess,
Will be condemned in His carnage.
