Analysis of A Blanket Of Paper

Robert Joseph Mattingly 1957 (Brookline, Massachusetts)

A pen shovels
The sheet apart
And keys bulldoze
The sheet away,
While the page melts
'cause that color
Of ink absorbs
The idea
To the poem,
More clearing it
For you to see.
