Analysis of When It’s Bald

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

The passion is here,
 The glowing,
The red eyes.

The milky white,
The dark veins,
Now crimson dry.

Now pouring,
The thunder can crack,
The eyes flash like the lightning does slash.

With the eyes tearful,
The eyes are no longer dry,
Because all of the grace is bountiful.

Yes, because of God’s gifts
There is no longer a reason to cry.
Where God’s grace never ends and floats like a raft.

Nothing evil can touch the
Grace that is from above,
Like a life-saver-float.

Like when God saves us, a moat.
Every way is almost blind,
And we need Jesus’s light.

Like in humble pastures,
We sheep are guided by Jesus.
He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Jesus loves us and,
Never gives up,
Like a father to a pup.

A new book is like,
Growing grass
Above a brook.

When it’s bald
You never let it be forsaken,
But when it’s thick you let it be taken.
