Analysis of Sand Dance

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

We dance
To the rhythms at shore.

The sky enchants.
The song combats.
The waves sing to the beach,
And at its reach:

We had foot prints on shore.
We built a sand castle.
We bury each other.

The tide frees us.

We glance now at a stance.

We sing,
We kiss,
We glow,
We danced.
We jump with glee.

Now in the water,
The sand is free.
