Analysis of Eve fucked up

To the King
Who gave us this thing
Of life and love
All was given from the heights above
With the hope of dreams and wonder
Which sadly has run asunder
And dipped into the façade of arrogance
It was always stupidity
That we had to romance

You ever wonder
If this is the way it was supposed to be?
The book was written with a beginning and an end
Were we really meant to get kicked out of paradise and fend?
Was this all a biblical test?
It’s a bit curious I must confess

Was it a wager between the two?
To see what we would do?

Perhaps it was our fate to take the bait
Maybe we were meant to fail
We were given a choice
Fit with a voice
To object to the serpent’s plea
To open our eyes and be free
From that tasty poison little apple
Forever with existence we grapple
Was it the choice that was the test?
Or our instinct to resist that we gave a rest?
Either way we did fail
And from paradise we did bail
Never to return
But simply end up in an Urn
A charred pile of ash
Resting in a vessel
That seems rash

Fascinated by this turn of events
So long ago
I simply wish to know
Whose to blame
Who fucked up?
What’s their name?

Not that it’s anything I can change
But admittingly making me a bit deranged
Was it her? Or him?
Did she eat the damn fruit on a whim?
And what about him?
Was he nagged, gagged or just a wimp
Stupid shit was a simp
Probably said yes dear out of fear
Then lied to God
The sorry sod
I blame them both

Instead of running around naked hanging with a Lion
It’s another fucking robocall I’m denying
Yah thanks Adam and Eve

Should have had me there instead
I would made sure that snake was dead
Made a belt out of his ass
And whopped Eve for almost fucking up paradise

I know that’s not nice
But neither is what we have now
So, relax don’t have a cow

Just a lil spiritual what if
To give the ol ticker a lift
Think of it as a meaningless gift
That you just didn’t need
Something to tickle
That cerebral seed
As you hurtle towards your last day
Which by the way
Is courtesy
Of a lie that was bought without a thought
From a fruit dealer, soul stealer, and deceptive appealer
To a girl named Eve, who believed a snake
And doomed us all to eat cake
What a fucking flake.
