Analysis of Riddle

As warm as it gets
we strive for survival
no, I'm not your rival
my water is yours
the sweat or the tears
it doesn't matter
our life is an utter riddle
of codes and inscriptions
we need to explore
so that we can see
what awaits behind the door
and all the illusions
will scatter into pieces
because, after all
we are just one of so many species
