Analysis of Eternal

We search this life, both near and far
to learn it's greatest truth,
to quest of spirit's purpose,
it's reckoned purest proof

With eyes that chase the sunrise
‘til daunt of day is done,
'til rest upon reflections
with the setting of each sun

With hands that forage hope among
quick blossoms of the Spring,
to fold in soft and solemn prayer
as seasons change all things

In haste of fleeting moments
as  time reaches to assure
sewn seeds of great divinity
lest love remain obscure

But treasured for a time, although
doth try the strongest fist,
yet ne'er was held eternal though
love's light doth e'er persist.

About this poem

It’s a bit of everything. It’s about life, it’s many challenges among waves of love, loss and change …. about learning to find peace among those ever changing tides.
