Analysis of JUST A PRAISE SONG!
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
JUST A PRAISE SONG
Lord I call on You
Will You see me through?
So long from where
I started way back there
Standing when I should walk
Silent when I should talk
Teach my Your ways
Let all my heart praise…
I will praise You,
Lord in all I do
Lift my hands to pray
I fall on my knees to say
My life I freely give
As long as I live
Raise me up my King
And Forever I will sing…
I will sing a new Song
I will sing it all day long
I will run, I will Dance!
This is the Divine Romance
And Here come the King
As we rise up to sing
Dance for God, rejoice!
I will lift a joyful noise…
A joyful noise I shout!
KnowingYou beyond doubt
Teach me to run not walk
To SHOUT when I talk
Let the whole world see
The joy of God in me
Rejoicing in Your ways
Your Name I'll praise
AMEN
