Analysis of Changes

Prompt: And So She Becomes Better.

One day I opened my eyes
And took a long, hard look around me
I realized, I was drowning in my lies
And that I was causing my own insanity

the person I saw in the mirror
Is not who I wanted to be
The truth was starting to become clear
That in order to change, it has to come from inside me

It's always easy to sit back and complain
And then get frustrated at yourself
But, in doing so, what will you gain
It only stresses out your health

So, it seems I need to build myself
And put the pieces back together
Yeah, it's easy to complain about wealth
But, it's also easy, to complain about the weather

I realized, that nothing's going to change unless I try
Instead of groveling in this procrastination
Instead of asking how or why
I need to get to work on God's creation
