Analysis of Petals and Thorns

Petals & Thorns
By Nancy Rodriquez

At times there are petals and thorns amongst the love, this twin flame journey we have with each other ,
I sense it falls on a bed of lies and trust, and we must discern it all out together,
As long as it is you I spend this time with, I can make it I know, your love sets me all aglow, from my head to my toes,
We have learned to heal each other, and have seen much growth and spark, we have become even wiser, stayed in the light rather than the dark,
We know how to hang in when things are tough , and we seek to be sensitive too,  when the going is rough,  we vow to see it through,
I see the two of us better, I can almost look far ahead, I rest in the rose petals , my fingers do not touch the thorns, ever,

To see we have gone full circle, to welcome the Universe in this embrace,
Knowing we have cried until our tears are purple  as they’ve fallen down our face, we are ever devoted, and saved by amazing grace.
