Analysis of EarthCare
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
You visit Earth and give water,
Which greatly enriches the land;
Blessing birth of son or daughter,
Of parenthood as preplanned.
Full of water is the river,
Nourishment provided for grain;
For the growth it will deliver,
A rich crop yields on the terrain.
Water furrows abundantly,
Softening it with its shower;
Blessing its growth flamboyantly,
Growing up just like a tower.
You crown the year with abundance,
As the wagon tracks overflow;
O God, we do have dependence,
Upon Your wondrous work, You know.
The pastures of the wilderness,
Girds joy themselves for the grazing;
As the sheep and cattle will bless,
A place for their young in raising.
The pastures being clothed with flocks,
The valleys are covered with wheat;
A resting place for bull and ox,
To rest a while from the heat.
