Analysis of Perception

Little difference there is between,
A perception to have it.
And an opinion asked to give.
Although no exceptions are considered,
When listening to anyone...
Entitled to express,
How they feel about anything...
That matters to them personally.
With a doing to be honest.
Daring this done openly to say it spoken.

However...
Shouldn't the obvious by now,
Be recognized for what it is to appear?
To expect being disrespected.
And accept this without becoming upset.
Knowing before a mouth is opened.
That hypocrisy
In a democratic society.
Leaves those pretentious prepared,
To protect and defend...
Deceiving the truth to the bitter end.
And not for what truth is.

Today?
The majority of the people,
Could care less if truth delivered to them...
Peace to live it for the rest of their lives.
People these days,
Would rather argue until heated.
Into debate.
Over nothing endlessly.
Just to be heard disagreeing.
Without having a clue,
As to why, reason or the purpose served...
That achieves stupidity and time wasted!
Proving...
Listening to understand and comprehend,
Others for who they are to be.
Has never been on the agenda,
Of many claiming...
Equality obtained is a democratic policy!
And a rule obeyed and followed.
By...?
