Analysis of Respite

Count the evil things you’ve done,
Were they all in good fun?
Foreign to you is empathy,
Causing everyone else misery.

Times will pass, no end in sight.
When you sleep, I seek respite.
In my lonesome, I will crawl,
Away from the inevitable fall.
