Analysis of Woolen Socks
Woolen socks,
Where are you now?
It seems I've let you go
Somehow.
I bought you in
December last.
You served me well;
Your time is past.
I know you can't
Hear what I say.
I'm going to say it
Anyway.
I'm grateful for
the things I've used.
They help me see
I'm not abused.
I may yet see
their likes again.
But my old feet
must starve 'til then!
