Analysis of Fading Behind the Rain (2021 edit)

John Dewberry 1995 (United States)

Missing you
Is missing a part of me
Finding you
Is taxing but love ain’t free
Hoping solace’s found

8 years on
Memories not gone
It’s alive and well
A bittersweet swell
Of emotions raise the question

Why aren’t you
Fading behind the rain
The seas of hearty pain
Behind blue eyes
They strain
Cant you fade behind the rain

Finality
Is only the beginning
Playing life
Will always cause you
To lose

In stride
Taken the punches as I may
To be become stronger
