Analysis of Anahedonia
Anhedonic people franchise little joy.
They navigate dark waters
without a life buoy.
Anhedonic people seldom flash a smile.
They resist every pleasure
in self-denial.
Anhedonic people abandon most hope.
They prophesy tragedy
unable to cope.
Anhedonic people look for some hardship.
They solicit misery
with stiff upper lip.
Anhedonic people often harbor dread.
They wince in panic attacks
afraid to drop dead.
Anhedonic people disengage from life.
They jettison happiness
for internal strife.
