Analysis of Betrayal

I thought I could trust you,
Yet pure trust is too good to be true.
I was completely blind.
So weak; out of my mind.
What you put me through,
So much guilt, misery, and hatred.
You were like kindred, to me.
You deceived.
You teased,
You were the one who put that filth in my mind.
I thought you were kind.
I was no king, and it still stings.
This feeling of being betrayed.
