Analysis of Change

We can't change each cloudburst
but we can change our rage.
Life waits for wellbeing, it's not an idle stage.

We can't change someone's heart
but we can change our own.
Life waits for kindliness, it's not a malice zone.

We can't change borrowed time
but we can change our day.
Life waits for fulfillment, it's not a throwaway.

We can't change dreadful stuff
but we can change our mood.
Life waits for quietness, it's not a steady feud.

We can't change cosmic space
but we can change our set.
Life waits for adventure, it's not a certain bet.

We can't change what's happened
but we can change what's next.
Life waits for instruction, it's not for people vexed.
