Analysis of Feelings Slip Away

Almost imperceptibly
feelings slip away.
The unattended garden turns to fodder hay.

Almost imperceptibly
core engagements fade.
The unattended sparkle turns to forest shade.

Almost imperceptibly,
hidden in plain sight,
the unattended venture turns to "fly-by-night."

Almost imperceptibly
routines gavel form.
The unattended kinship turns to tepid warm.

Almost imperceptibly,
right under the nose,
the unattended transfer turns to awkward pose.
