Analysis of Hope
I hear many voices
as the walls come to life
and fear materializes
in the shadows I despise;
Sinking shadows of hope
on mountains of dreams,
beyond the stretch of my imagination,
past oceans of thrills.
Along corridors of peace
I hear whispers of war
as greed, envy and lust
turn brother against brother;
still onward I float,
how can this be real,
but a wave on life's pond
which ought be stilled?
