Analysis of I Shall Never Walk Alone

People come and go, much of life is inconsistent
What I treasure now, could be gone in an instant.
I do not fear, for I put my trust in the Lord
He knows what’s inside, what has long been stored.
He promises that we will never be alone
That through others, His love will be shown.
When we have accountability we can grow
Through fellowship, God, we can truly come to know.
Times of trouble will come and to me He will send
Strength and support, comfort through a friend.
I know I can face tomorrow, He will be there
People can’t always, but He is everywhere.
Although physically absent, He is with me still
and with His guidance, I shall discover His will.
There are times when I will fall and be in need of a hand
I will need accountability, someone who will understand.
With someone by my side, the rise will not be as long
When hard days fall upon me, I will manage to be strong.
I cannot go a day without talking to my Father
Without spending time with God, how can I be His daughter?
Every night, before I sleep, I make sure to write
I ask for wisdom for the coming day, for God to give me sight.
Without others I would not be reminded of Christ’s love
Nor have power in numbers as we seek guidance from above.
I’ve learned even in my darkest hour, God will not leave
He will always be present, send a friend to comfort when I grieve.
