Analysis of Joseph, Joseph
"Joseph, Joseph" that whispering voice
I hear faintly in echoes as he implores
And follow I may as matter of choice
Those fancies instead I blindly do score
"Joseph, Joseph" He visits while I rest
Between sweet dreams and incubus
Sounds crossing cold waters to test
Begging for my unmoving trust
"Joseph, Joseph" he doth gently beseech
In my time of desperate need
This time He hath laid for Him to teach
But "Joseph, Joseph" I still do not heed.
