Analysis of Like An Opera

It hit him like opera
 The foreboding pace
 Defined by a kiss
 La Boehme was the taste

Angels flew through the ether
 Grasping to scrolls
 Confronted by the magic
 Between skin and soul

The long to feel death
For only then can they know
 The feeling of love
 Within mortal hold

In your arms were gateways
 To passion and pain
They are cut from the robe
 Of the Supreme brain

He looks there to find you
 For we all return
 After our cups are replete
 From all that we learned

It hit him lie opera
 It ended the same
 Defined by a kiss
 That tasted like pain.
