Analysis of Look Inside

Today I will take a deep look inside
I will search my soul of its pride
Is it standing high or sitting low
The rest of me really needs to know
If my soul is straight standing tall
Then my heart shouts with its best call
When my soul sits low next to the ground
Then my hearts blue and very sadly frowns
Back and forth these emotions bounce
Draining my heart of its every ounce
Show me where love starts to fit in
Tell me why my soul stays in a spin
My pride is low when loves not around
Straight to the bottom its surely bound
I see things different when I look inside
This is the way I save my souls pride!
