Analysis of Make My Day
"Make my day" I tell myself: no one lives in my brain but me.
The greatest view is insight. Selection is destiny.
Actions always boomerang: my decisions have consequence.
Only I can change my mind, befitting the circumstance.
People or outside events can not pacify or enrage.
I, alone, give them power my emotions to engage.
Others may sign my paycheck but I am always my own boss.
Responsible behavior produces my gain or loss.
Cloudy days obscure the "blue," yet there is never a gray sky.
Attitudes change everything, seeing more than meets the eye.
My beliefs become my truth: they may be wrongheaded desire.
The actual reality could ironically inspire.
Improving me is my work requiring daily diligence.
A profound introspection will demand intelligence.
The cure is found in the cause: a reaction to stimuli.
If I can't change things in fact I can alter my reply.
