Analysis of Not Me

This is not me
I am not my bills or my shopping list
I am not the little girl that you see
I am not a portrait of who I once was
I am not someone you think you know
I am not a growing figure of myself
I am not a hidden soul
I am not the books I place atop my shelf
I am not your dirty magazines
I am not a toy to play with
I am not someone to hurt
I am not the paper I write to you on
I am not the phone you hold to talk to me
I am not an image that you like to look at
I am not a child that you can take advantage of
I am not the school I go to or the people I meet
and I am not an image of what you want to see
I am something much bigger and better
I am me
