Analysis of One More Sip

The ice rattles weakly,
Nearly melted,
My drink about gone.

It began well-mixed,
Then thinned,
Our now-insipid romance.

I could make another,
But, this one still kicks:
Like over-diluted watercolors.
Oh, God! I loved to hear her sing.
