Analysis of Rules of Rent

Moved into a place with a very new friend
All seemed good from the very start
I accepted her proposal after a little price bend
It was pretty cheap and she appeared smart

We agreed on a price we could both afford
All was inclusive, especially the cable and food
I needed little space for me, just room and board
What she did to me was far beyond rude

It was dumb of me to not have a contract signed
Even a friend must sign a mutual agreement
That way both parties are held legally bind
Especially when there is some silly argument

After she admitted the verbal contract to me
She denied and said she was misunderstood
It's strange how situations like this come to be
When one is a liar, there can come no good

In the end there is a hard lesson to be learned
Never accept a hand of someone with greed
Cause in the end when you crash and burn
They will stand above you and watch you bleed
