Analysis of Save the poor Dalits

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

Smiling ever after.
Hopes and dreams,
Disaster.
Overcoming ways
Where a melody stays.
Open hearts,
Empty carts.
Like shopping for medicine,

Sharing the parts.
Parts for labor,
Parts for healing the sick,
Parts for God.

Open and empty.
My feet are shod.
In emergency I nod.
I toil for the sick.
I look for a trick.

I blow out a candle wick.
My last wish.
A candle light and dish.
I made a wish
For the sick and starving.

The cart is empty,
The register is full.
I bought some medicine.
Now to lull.
I'm calm and peaceful.
For the sick
I saved my candle stick.
I waved off fear and disaster.
I melt and met with my master.

Oh God to you
I lament.
Save these Dalits
In India.
These poor children
On the street.
Here, here is
My medicine!
