Analysis of Stage Fright
It was the perfect night,
The stage was set,
Everything was going right.
But in a moment of hesitation,
You broke out with stage fright,
What was I to do with you?
So I acted very nonchalant,
And told you that it was cool.
Mean while, deep down inside,
Something told me I was a fool,
Where did it all go so wrong?
Was it in the very first act?
Or maybe the opening song,
With all that in mind,
I took a load off my shoulders,
A little me time to unwind.
Unsure of what really happened,
What would I eventually find?
I will play this part till the end,
Hoping that maybe the next time,
You can get it right, my friend.
