Analysis of storm

Feelings twist,
in a maelstrom of emotion;
as lightning bisects the skies.
Faces lit,
for a fleeting moment,
reveal an inner storm.
Thunder displaces air,
as rhythms rise to match a beating rain.
And you know,
as you ride the crest of a wave;
it will never be the same again.
