Analysis of The Pain of your First Love

I know the world will move past it
but I don't understand why our love never lasted
we were so close, then in a blink of an eye it was gone.
You ran away, and now our Love's left without a home.
These past few months I've been shown what pain means
never really had it before so it seems
you ripped the heart of a virgin lover
there is more love in me
and I'll hold it for someone
but for now I'm going to stick to sinning
keep my winnings but still I'll wonder what would have happened if we had ending
