Analysis of The Tortoise and the Coat

When the tortoise awoke from a short sleeping spell
He had no coat to keep him warm and it was cold as hell
So he took a walk to find his coat but came across a great big goat
Have you seen my large brown coat I need it to keep me warm he boasts
The goat shook his head and said
“Try mother hen or the Billy goat maybe they have seen your coat”
So he left to find Billy, the Billy goat to see if he had found his coat
He walked a mile or maybe more but the going was really slow
Then he heard a lion roar, so he hid, like he has done many times before
He hid under a large round rock but then he found that he was stuck
The lion roared but could not break in the rock felt like a new found skin
And that how the tortoise got his coat as to this day the rocks still rolls

All poems included here are just first draft's. I hadn't written poetry for a few years, so to polish my art and find my muse I posted some quickly written poems on these pages so I could see your response. It has helped me by reading your reviews about my poems (all of which I have taken into consideration) all comments have helped me improve my work a great deal. Thank you. I realy enjoy reading all your poems. I find some very insperational, some very heart felt, some very deep, which has helped me to push myself and dig deeper. Very deep, on some occasions. So my own poetry has vastly improved- since I have joined this sight, it has certainly helps splur me on. Thank You for all your imput and replies, please keep it up. It has helped educate me and make me a better writer.
