Hot dogs and pork and beans,
smiling and laughing at all the trivial things,
unconditional hugs from all of the family,
our love,
making the hard times much softer,
these were my experiences with poverty,
a foundation laid in philosophy.

Hello world! I am a poet before anything else in life, even as a boy, I would write in a journal deep into the night.
