Analysis of Time Is Ticking

time is ticking
tomorrow's just another day
time is ticking
shards of memories fade
what do i have to do?
to make it all go away?
shut the door in my face
and leave me out to waste

time is ticking
my life gone astray
time is ticking
the lies turn to grey
kinda days, i've been havin'
makes me feel so strange
gotta say, god is sayin
don't live your life in vain

time is ticking
sounds so forsaken
time is ticking
how long, i've been dreaming
time is ticking
i'm finally waking, time is…
time is…ticking
i'm finally waking, up
