Analysis of Understanding poetry

I am a fledgling poet
Who can't attach to love
To me it's like understanding
The universe above
Love to me is an attachment thing
A little chemical in the head that makes
Your heart beat sing
It is the movement of my writing pen
This is Where I get my kicks
Directing the words in story lines
With every little flick
