Analysis of When my parents got a divorce
Seen them going back and forth
One would scream other complain
Things started getting serious
Decisions will be made.
My parents got a divorce
Hardest thing I could take
Almost like one of them died
Though I see them in my life.
I miss the one I don't see much
It happens to be my dad
I needed his voice that means well
I needed him to teach me.
How to be more of a man
His strong touch
Lifting me up when I'm down
Encouraging me like he knew how.
Seen them when times were good
Smiling and laughing
Everything working out
Nothing to worry about.
Nothing to stress about
Getting the blessings
Family was strongest with them both
Practicing what we preach.
