Analysis of Let me be, Please let me be

Victoria Bond 1982 (pa)

Irritable, just under my skin and beneath my feet,
No reason why, My blood is racing through my veins,
My eyes focus straight into yours and I can feel them burning inside out.
The rage builds inside my body and not a clue why.

The feeling of touch becomes strong and the urge to
break through is too much to hold back.
So I fight that feeling and that urge to connect to a surface or
the one I am close to, and in front of.

Sometimes I break down and have a moment of weakness,
Sometimes I feel like I need to cry and scream until it all pulls away.
More than sometimes, it hurts and has a need to escape, yet how
do I escape, this pain, this spell, this feeling of reject and anger that consumes
me.

Get out, go away, let me be, please let me be.
