Analysis of Sunshine

In the distance, lightning flashes;
Echoing, thunder clashes.
From afar, there’s pouring rain;
Oh darkness, filling my brain.
Creeping thoughts keep flooding in.
Often dark, but don’t know when.
Then at last, you finally see;
The sunshine, calming the sea
