Analysis of Breakthrough
My nose still filled with scent of your sweet skin
enjoying thoughts of how -- in playful love --
your smile broke through, not just a silly grin
but one of new found ease with force to shove
the burdens off your chest. It makes me glad
I had the chance to cause this spark of light.
It touched my heart when seeing you so sad
because of deep felt loss and lonely fight.
I wish there is much more to come of this
connection we so tenderly have made.
For both of us it’s wrong to reminisce
and not go on. Our meeting might be fate.
Now that we’ve met, there is a whole new game.
The past has been and nothing stays the same.
