Five stanzas
Rahul Kumar 2001 (Dhanbad)
If you practice hard enough,
that people might think you are tard enough,
but have a mission which you guard enough,
just work on it, you will go far enough.
The real test is when wounded but keep bearing yourself,
certainly people will say "no" to you, but without anyone's notice keep on layering yourself,
only few people wants you to rise high,
but treat everyone equally and never get illusioned by comparing yourself.
Look at the mistakes of your past without any regret or sorrow,
there are preachings in them which you can borrow,
ask victors for what to do and also non-victors for what not to,
apply the preachings and never repeat those mistakes tomorrow.
Don't get despair,
when the world ignores you,
show them your dare,
dare to fail, dare to learn and dare to do it again,
doing all it with smile battling sadness filled grim pain.
Fearing failure would not ease your journey,
it will make you dead where only embarrassments can push your gurney,
difficulties will arise, but keep swimming when it comes to drown you,
when you thrust out these high tides the same crowd will crown you.
